Day 11 of A Song A Day Keeps The Virus Away

For those of you who have been following this I'm recapping 2019 studio life since I didn't get a chance to do it around the new year. It is already making me miss the interactions and energy of creating art with real people in real time. Guess I should get used to the new normal for a little while. I left off in July and most of August was blocked off for Counterpunch, ( and camping ) who made the trek from Chicago to track 16 great songs. That project is yet to be released but it's KILLER and I can't wait to share! That brings us to September which was PEARS time! Some of you have probably heard their new album already but I'll just pick one of many favorites. "Rich to Rags" is a hooky gem that tells the story of the young punks touring with all the "big kids" and feeling "like a baby." This album was start to finish at Black in Bluhm and I can't wait to do another one.
